Pimp My Chulips: They Pimped Their Chulips!

Hello guys!

chulip review

In Watson Malaysia store these days, you'll see this eye catching cute looking lip balm shaped like a dome displayed in the lip care rack area. They are so cute and all four can fit into snuggly into your palm. Comes with four unique names which are the Paris Perfect Memories, Nordic Fancy Nostalgia, Arabian Floral Shower, and NY Brilliant My Way; each one have their own distinct flavours and colours. I bet you will have a though time choosing which one to buy because I know I did!

These adorable tiny lip balm are called Chulip, a product by Mentholatum. Being quite a trend in Japan nowadays, the 'chu' from it's name is a Japan word which translate into the word 'kiss'.

And if you've been following my Instagram account, I posted about the Pimp My Chulip contest organized by Mentholatum in conjuction with Watson Malaysia, which just ended a few days ago. The winners will either win the grand prize of iPad Mini 3 or a set of the Chulip products. Did you enter it? If you're wondering about the entries, you can see all the creative design on the Chulips website here. I've been checking out some of the entrants and I picked my top three favourites of them all.

See? Aren't they adorable! I'm rooting for the lifeguard because it's so creative. But the angry bird Chulip is adorable too. I bet the judges will have a though time picking.

Anyway, I was also given a chance to pimp my own Chulip during the 'Pimp My Chulip' workshop organized by The Butterfly Project Malaysia a couple of weeks ago at Kare Cafe, One Utama. They actually provided all the decorating stuffs for us to choose.

There were also displays of already decorated Chulips at the venue that made me feel so much like in Wonderland. Well, the cafe itself already look like a cafe that would come out of story books, so colourful!

Let say my rusty artistic skill caused me to end up with this gentle'Chulip'man named Mr Mustache. I don't know about winning but I was pretty sure this little guy was having a blast taking pictures with the pretty Chulips ladies

They were also refreshment and a bit of titbits ready for us to it and they are all good, especially the pasta. I was famished at that time as I went straight to the event after attending the Malaysian Women's Weekly Fitness and Wellbeing Workshop with some other fellow blogger friends. You can read about them here.

I had a blast decorating and 'pimping' my Chulip. The product itself doesn't just glide smoothly on the lips, even the packaging make me fall in love. Now my vanity looks cuter with all four colours neatly placed in line.

Choose my favourite? I just can't. The purple one is so unique with the flower scent, I'll always love citrus flavour so green is definitely not a letdown, pink packaging is enough to make me swoon and the red one with apple, tea rose and ginger made me feel like I'm having a tea party. So I gotta love them all!

Till next post, toodles~! ♥ミ
