Sweet Treats from Althea Korea

Hello, guys!

Korean beauty products are so appealing to me. The fact that I can get high-quality products that work well on my Asian skin at a very affordable price would be the main reason, but I also love how quirky, cute and different their packaging can be. Heck, I know that I don't need 101 different cushion products to put on my face at the same time but I still buy them. Why? Cause their packaging is cute! Of course I would consider the quality too but usually, I am more inclined to buy if I love how it look like. Very typical of me. It's actually very impressive for the Korean brands to be able to come out with so many different concepts when it comes to packaging. For example, look at the products I got from Althea Sweet Treat Box! In one quick glance, it's possible for someone to mistake them as real foods instead. Don't believe me? Let me show you:

The Saem Chocopie Hand Cream

Oh my goodness, when I first opened up the box, this product caught my eye first! The packaging looks eerily similar my favourite Chocopie that it made me want to eat some instantly. The hand cream smells really sweet, one might mistake it as real cream if they don't read the label carefully. The texture of the cream is a little on the heavy side so I usually use it in an air-conditioned room instead. It contains macadamia oil, shea butter, marshmallow extract and cacao seed butter that provides moisture to soften dry and rough hands. By the way, this Chocopie Hand Cream also have a 'Strawberry' flavour variant on Althea website too. LINK

Holika Holika Smooth Egg Skin Soap

I have been wanting to buy and try this soap set from Holika Holika since the longest time. I don't know why I haven't gotten one until now. This is undeniably one of the most interesting products that's on my wishlist ever since I become a K-beauty addict a few years back. Packaging wise, I will give an A+ to the design team because it's so cute! Comes in four different variants; red clay, charcoal, white egg, and green tea, these 'eggs' are all handmade too. There are two ways to use this product which is as normal cleanser soap and as bubble massage. LINK

Red Clay: Clean clogged pores & tightens it.
Charcoal: Absorb excess sebum & avoid skin problems.
White Egg: Smooth skin & tighten pores.
Green Tea: Whitens & smooth skin.

Clean Up Bubble Sugar Scrub

This is actually my second Bubble Sugar Scrub. The cute packaging is undeniable! This product might look like it doesn't last long but believe me, it does. I realised that I actually can cut one small cube into two parts and it's enough for two-time use! Looking just like normal brown sugar, one might believe that it is real. Thankfully, one thing that gives it away is the scent as it smells a bit 'citrus-ish' ( I checked and seems like they do use lemon as one of the ingredients) so you won't accidentally add it into your tea! LOL. To use it, just lather the product with a few drops of water, and gently scrub your face area. Compared to the Black Sugar Mask from Skinfood (which I also love), Bubble Sugar Scrub have a coarser texture but still gentle on the skin once you melt is out a bit with water. LINK

Onsaemeein Yogurt Peeling Pack

I didn't have a high expectation on this product since there are a lot of peeling pack in the market, but I was wrong. This product is such an amazeballs and does its job so well that it outshined other peeling packs that I have tried previously. I shall repurchase this again once I ran out.  The yogurt-ish texture is gentle to the skin, so I don't get any irritation afterwards. What's better? It is so affordable too. The key ingredients inside of this product include goat milk, yogurt extract (obviously) and also papaya leaf extract. LINK

See! Aren't they all cute? Of course, cute packaging is not everything, but it is still something! On top of that, these yummy-looking products are not just a feast for the eyes, they actually work great too. My top favourite out of these four items is the Chocopie Hand Cream (major cuteness) and the Yogurt Peeling Pack (best peeling pack I have ever tried!). These goodies can be purchased on www.althea.kr so make sure to check them out!
