Hey guys!

I'm in love with Kyochon ever since they opened their first branch in Malaysia so today, since I'm having a major Kyochon craving in the middle of the night, I got inspired to do a short write up about possibly my fav Korean fried chicken brand so far! I really love their menu. I've been to their outlets many times and I'll keep on going. I can vividly remember the first time they launched their first outlet in 1Utama followed by the one in Menara Hap Seng and then the third one in Pavilion KL and so on. 

Calling pet owners! The topic I am going to talk about today is closely related to our furry babies at home so make sure to pay attention. 😉 For those who own any cats or even dogs (or any other indoor pets), you guys would definitely share the same sentiment as I do; our pets are a part of the family and we want them to have a long, happy life, and to be with us as long as they can. Our greatest fear, the one thing that we dread so much, will be the time when we have to finally say goodbye to them.

Are you a milk person? I totally am! I am so obsessed with milk, I pair it up with the most random things. Really, I can drink a whole carton of 1-litre milk in a blink if I want too. LOL. Today, I am going to share about the Fernleaf UHT Milk, their story and what makes it 100% trustable to be your daily source of milk goodness. But, before that, here comes story time! What is my blog without one right? This is gonna be a bit long but believe me it'll be worth it. At the end of the post, I'll help make you at least much more knowledgeable on milk and Fernleaf compared to before! I'll also talk about my fun picnic yesterday featuring Fernleaf UHT Milk along with my good friend Eros from fishmeatdie a.k.a my official foodie/photoshoot/kpop partner in crime. We even colour coordinated our outfits to match Fernleaf's fun yellow vibe!

I am craving for some good durian and this reminds me of that Durian BB experience I had. Been wanting to talk about it for the longest time, can't believe I've dragged this on up until today. Anyway, let's talk about the real stuff! If you are a fan of durian, you'll definitely know that they are many types of durian and they taste pretty different too. Some are bitter than the other while others can be sweeter than most. Different people tend to prefer certain types, for example, I like my durian to have the best of both worlds; meaning being sweet and bitter all at the same time while my mom and brother prefer the sweet type.

My relationship with Korean foods started when I slowly got more serious about the world of Korean drama back when I was in high school. Like seriously, who won't start salivating and craving to try their foods especially when you're binge-watching a show that's showing those yummy looking foods in the middle of the night? Starting from the basics like trying ramyun, tteokbokki, and gimbap at Korean restaurants, now my Korean food adventure has gone up to another level since I've actually started cooking them at home. My favourite go-to meal these days? Homemade Sundubu Jjigae or also known as the Korean Soft Tofu Stew.  It's just yummy, fulfilling (low carb!) and the perfect comfort food for me. More importantly, they're relatively easy to make too.

It's the fasting month, how has it been so far for you? For me, unlike the previous years, I decided to cut off on the Ramadan buffet reviews because I found them very dangerous for me. You know right, Anis + Food = Weight Gain LOL but I did kinda 'accidentally' accepted one invitation from Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur so here's a quick sharing on what's available on their 'Buka Puasa' menu. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, opposite the Fahrenheit88 and just less than five minutes walk from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, this place could be a great option for breaking the fast after a long Raya shopping day.

I'm back with another post. Today, I am going to share about The Butterfly Project x Caffe Bene Malaysia event that I attended a few weeks ago along with my fellow butterfly bloggers. The theme was UltraViolet (read: purple vibes) as the event was held to introduce Caffe Bene's latest seasonal menu; the UltraViolet Sweet Potato Series. If you follow me on my Instagram, you might have seen my stories about the happenings during the event which took place at Caffe Bene's 1Utama branch. As usual, I was once again acting as a volunteer BRO (bloggers relation officer), helping Tammy (our mamasan) and the community to take care of all the attendees' registration but this time I was joined by our little caterpillar Syahira.

One of the best things to discover when you visit Korea is their amazing dessert especially the shaved iced or commonly known as bingsu. Similar to our own ABC, but on a whole new level, I just can't stop myself from getting obsessed with them! A few years back, it was really hard to try really nice Korean bingsu here (even in KL) but since the booming of Hallyu wave in Malaysia, we are lucky that we can have them now without having to fly directly to the land of kimchi.
