Our greatest fear, the one thing that we dread so much, will be the time when we have to finally say goodbye to them.

How important your phone is to you? Well, you can call me an addict or whatnot (not true though) but I seriously cannot live without my mobile phone. If it was just considered as a 'want' in the past, now my phone has levelled up into the list of 'The Things I Cannot Live Without'. Why? Easy, it's basically my personal assistant, one that I have to pay a lot for in the first place, cause oh boy, everyone knows how expensive a phone can be nowadays! Realising the importance of my phone to me especially when I have everything related to my work + blogging + personal life stored there, I know that I have to rely on some sort of 'insurance' program to make sure I won't break it (at least as long as I can possibly can). And here comes my saviour Otterbox, so read on to learn about how I came across this brand + a real testimonial!

My relationship with Korean foods started when I slowly got more serious about the world of Korean drama back when I was in high school. Like seriously, who won't start salivating and craving to try their foods especially when you're binge-watching a show that's showing those yummy looking foods in the middle of the night? Starting from the basics like trying ramyun, tteokbokki, and gimbap at Korean restaurants, now my Korean food adventure has gone up to another level since I've actually started cooking them at home. My favourite go-to meal these days? Homemade Sundubu Jjigae or also known as the Korean Soft Tofu Stew.  It's just yummy, fulfilling (low carb!) and the perfect comfort food for me. More importantly, they're relatively easy to make too.

Is it too late to wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya? Or Happy Eid for those who don't understand Malay. This is just like the same old me right, always missing on the train and late for the occasion. LOL. Anyway, personal update? My Raya this year was a bit sad. Caught a fever and flu so I spent most of the Raya weekend as a burrito in my room. Couldn't go back to my mom's hometown along with everybody else either because I had to start work earlier. So, I basically was 'Macaulay Culkin'-ing at home filming 'Home Alone' all by myself. Haha, just kidding, my youngest brother caught the flu as well so he stayed back at home with me and the other brother couldn't be bothered to pack so he ended up staying with us too. Basically, it was just our parent who went back to the hometown to visit my maternal grandmother but in the end, even their visit was cut short cause my mom 'couldn't sit still' thinking of us at home. Children are where mom's heart is anyway right? 🤣

Today I am writing about a jewellery brand called Trollbeads which I just discovered thanks to the Butterfly Project Malaysia. Hailing from Copenhagen, Denmark, Trollbeads is a brand with 40-years long history and has a huge fanbase worldwide. Upon sharing my new discovery with my then-intern Julie who actually came from Denmark; I was told how big and well-established this brand is back in her home country as the original creator of the 'beads-on-jewellery' concept. That made me become even more interested to check out the brand since, to be honest, I actually thought that Pandora is the first brand to ever release this kind of jewellery with beads as decoration. I am pretty sure a lot of you out there share the same misconception so I think this post would be pretty informative for everyone!

Before you jump to conclusions, let me say that that; no, I am not married nor pregnant at the moment. Won't be anytime soon either as far as I know, 🤣 but then, who knows what the future would bring right? Anyway, I have a lot of friends that just tied the knot or are expecting at the moment so when I was invited by Anmum last weekend to attend their talk regarding extraordinary pregnancies journey; I thought, why not? It's good knowledge and it might help those who are planning to get pregnant or are already carrying a child inside.

Why do you put on a deodorant? To make sure your bodily scent doesn't cause any inconvenience to other people? While that reason is primarily why I started to use a deodorant, I also knew that deodorant application can also act as a protective layer between our skin towards unwanted intruders; such as germs etc. Our underarm is a pretty sensitive & vulnerable area; between the occasional shavings or plucking, it has a higher tendency to get irritated if it's not cared for properly.

Happy Ramadan Mubarak 💓 I hope this month is filled with blessing for each and every one of you. I bet everyone is already excited to prepare for the upcoming Raya too. Of course, I am as excited as you are and I've already started to plan the celebration with my family. Ours doesn't really go crazy over buying new home decor every year for Raya but my mum always makes sure our house is all cleaned and fresh on that happy day. The living space has to be looking good and smelling good in order to receive all of the visits from our family and friends right?

I'm back with my 'How to Introvert Like A Pro' series. I guess I haven't changed much from two years ago since I'm still comfortable shopping for stuff at the comfort of my own room. If last time I talked about how easy it is to buy your groceries without going out, this time I'm gonna share with you on how I shop for clothing! Seriously, with the booming of Muslimah fashion in Malaysia and the evolution of hijab trends, it'll be very hard to keep up with the flow if you don't have the 'knows hows' yet.

The new year is coming and I am thinking of maybe going for a solo weekend gateway somewhere to just chill and relax. I don't know about you guys but I think spending some quality time with myself is a great way to reflect back on lots of things. Plus, I genuinely love to have some 'only me' time once in a while. In my previous 'solo weekend escapade' a few weeks back, I got pampered by the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, experiencing a 5-star treatment in their newly revamped Deluxe Room. The short gateway was truly an effective healing time for me, despite being located less than 20 minutes away from my home.

Let's be honest, new year resolutions can be pretty useless if you don't decide to stick on it. Take me for example, a majority of my new year resolutions for the past ten years had either been totally forgotten or been given up on. I know. My determination is probably the size of a peanut. BUT! Yes, there is a but. This year, surprisingly (even to me), I realised that I managed to fulfil about six out of ten aims that I set for myself last January! OMG! Right? *pats me on the back* That's a lot okay, especially when you consider my past records. Unfortunately, my dream of losing a lot of weight is still, well a dream. I might not be able to complete it by the end of 2016, but I am pretty sure that I am on the right path these days.

If I can choose one Harry Potter spell to use anytime I want forever, it'll be Oculus Reparo. Cause oh my, I am the clumsiest person ever when it comes to taking care of my glasses. The scene where Hermione fixes Harry's broken glasses with just a quick chant and a flick of a wand left a deep impression on me; since I can relate to it. I mean how cool is that right?! The only downside of that is probably the fact that I will be using the same frame over and over again. I guess that is why Harry 's glasses style never really change over the course of the 8 movies and 6 books. LOL. Hmm, then not having the same gift is actually a blessing right? I can find a good excuse to shop for new glasses when I broke one. Anyway, yeah the long intro is to announce something;

Wow, I can't believe that it's been three months since my first gym session at Impulse Asia. Up until now, I still can't really grasp the fact that I have successfully been through 10 hellish training sessions there; which also means enduring the never-ending muscle pain afterwards. The number might seem minuscule to some of you but for someone as unfit as I am, that is actually a really huge accomplishment. *patting myself on the back*
