Discover LifeStyle: Solo Weekend Escapade at Renaissance Hotel KL

The new year is coming and I am thinking of maybe going for a solo weekend gateway somewhere to just chill and relax. I don't know about you guys but I think spending some quality time with myself is a great way to reflect back on lots of things. Plus, I genuinely love to have some 'only me' time once in a while. In my previous 'solo weekend escapade' a few weeks back, I got pampered by the Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, experiencing a 5-star treatment in their newly revamped Deluxe Room. The short gateway was truly an effective healing time for me, despite being located less than 20 minutes away from my home.

The newly renovated room is located in the West Wing of this hotel. It's redesigned to exude a more clean and sleek look, with a mix of luxury and functionality. Looking very spacious especially with the neutral colour palette that decorates the room, it's also paired with elegant looking wood flooring panels and warm lighting which made me feel at home as soon as I entered space. I had such a great time watching late night movies on their Samsung's 48 inches Full HD Smart TV while laying around on top of the luxurious Marriot plush bedding on the King sized bed. The room is also equipped with high tech RFID door lock system and IP camera security system, so I did not need to worry much about my security.

I am also in love with their bathroom. Yes! It's very spacious and the ring lighted wall mirror adds on more elegance and functionality (makeup on fleek!) to the space. The 4-bay bathroom fixture with rain shower, along with a huge bath tub also made it the best 'me time' I've had in awhile. I just blasted out my Spotify playlist through the Bluetooth speaker device next to the bed and let my body soak in the bath tub for a good half an hour. Just perfect!

There is also a working desk next to the long sofa that overlooks the swimming pool for me to catch up with some pending blog posts while sipping on a cup of hot espresso made with Illy iperEspresso Capsule System available in the room.

What makes Renaissance Kuala Lumpur great is also by the fact that it is located right in Kuala Lumpur's golden triangle, overlooking the Petronas Twin Tower and the KL Tower. This hot spot means it's perfect for people visiting both for business and leisure purposes. On the other hand, if you are more introverted like me and prefer to avoid the hustle bustle of the city, there are a lot of other things to do right inside the hotel too! You can visit the Mandara Spa which FYI is well known for their great great great service. I was too occupied in my last visit to check out the branch in Renaissance but for those who are looking for a really good destress method, I highly recommend to try the service out.

As for the adrenaline junkies, you can choose to work out at their 24 hours gym or take a swim in the huge swimming pool; but personally, I would just chill at the side while reading some novels. *giggles*

One of the highlights of hotel staycation is their buffet and while I was at Renaissance Kuala Lumpur, I had such a grand breakfast buffet at TEMPTations, their in-house all-day restaurant that serves a wide variety of food ranging from classic Western breakfast to a wide choice of local favourites. I kept on getting more foods that morning but even with that, I was not able to try everything. Talk about varieties!

I am really honoured to receive such a great pampering session from the hotel and had such a great time there. It totally helped me to de-stress before resuming work again. With the great location, service and facilities, you should consider checking into this beautiful hotel and experience it all yourself.
