So did you had a great time last weekend? What did you do? Well, I don't get to do fun stuffs much since I have a lot of work to do. But I decided to give myself a short pampering session at the comfort of my home.
How do you usually pamper yourself? For me, I just recreate the best relaxation time for myself. My room filled with lit scented candle, wearing a face mask after a refreshing bath is just perfect for me. I sometimes make 'DIY' facial when I feel like it. My pampering session is never the same every time depending on how busy I am on that time. But for me, nothing feels better than taking a long bath and then laying on my bed reading novel while waiting for all the goodness from the mask to soak into my skin. And lastly, I will apply my favourite Clinique Even Better Essence Lotion which I'm in love with. That thing is such a miracle worker you know!
Speaking of novel, currently I'm trying to finish up my Tina Fey's biography Bossypants. I've been trying to finish it for quite awhile now but I haven't get to yet*blame my busy job*. It's really a fun read. I usually read them on my commute back from work, but these days I feel like sleeping even on when I'm taking the train. I guess I'm too exhausted these days. That's why a short pampering session is a great way for me to pick up my pace again.
For my pampering session last weekend, I decided to try the products I received in the Butterfly Project Beauty Box last December. Let see what I have to say about them ;)
1. Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask
This is the first thing I tried from the beauty box as I've never used this mask before. The name Hydraluron sounds so moisturizing to me too. Well, as I'm fighting dryness these days a great mask like this will definitely be my best friend. I like that it doesn't feels sticky on my face afterwards, some masks tend to do that you know. I feel refreshing after using it and my skin looks brighter and glowing.

2. Nature Republic Snail Solution Hydrogel Mask Sheet
Nature Republic masks is something I frequently use so I was just delighted to see this mask sheet in my beauty box. Who doesn't like Korean beauty masks especially with gorgeous EXO boys on the packaging? Lol, just kidding ! The reason why I love this mask is not because D.O or Chanyeol is on it, but because it just feels great on my skin. Snail solution is something commonly found on Korean mask products. A little bit of reading thought me that snail slime can help in stimulating collagen production to help repair sign of anti aging, and it also help to reduce premature aging in skin.

3. Always 21 Aloe Vera Soothing Gel Mist
Although this brand is quite foreign to me as I've never came across it before, I was quite excited when I first saw it. I just love face mist especially when it comes in small size! That's just great for me to bring everywhere. My skin tend to get quite dry under air conditioner so it's just great to help me maintain the moisture. I've always like Aloe Vera based products too especially with its refreshing scent.

4. L'Occitane Hand Cream
Before this, I used to really hate hand cream. It felt sticky on my hand and doesn't feel comfortable at all. But since last year, I've found some amazing hand creams that makes me utterly in love with this product. This is my first time L'Occitane hand cream and I'm glad it doesn't fails me. It smells so great, doesn't feel sticky on my hand and what's more is the fact that it got such a pretty packaging just pleases me ;)

5. Matrix Biolage Colorlast Shampoo
This shampoo is actually intended for people who colour their hair, but the scent makes me want to try it. I like the consistency of the product ,and how it leave my hair feels soft afterwards. I might pickup another one from this range that is suitable for my hair type.
