Strip! Exposing Dirty Little Secrets.

Hello guys!

After my first virgin experience in waxing which I mentioned in my Beauty Day Out post, my journey in the world of waxing continue as I learn more about personal hygiene care while getting a wax; or hair removal treatment in overall. Most people, including myself seem to be missing out a few not so obvious but very important points when we go for a waxing. How clean is the practice? Are they as hygienic as they claimed it to be?

I'm not talking about the obvious stuffs like how clean is the treatment room or if the therapist is wearing appropriate clothing because that is definitely something you have to double check when choosing a waxing place. The dirty little secrets that I want to expose in this post is more of something almost unnoticeable to some of us, especially if you're a newbie in the waxing world like me. 

Without the newly launched 'Dirty Little Secret Exposed' campaign from Strip, these stuffs might go on unnoticed even longer. Aware of how much important personal hygiene is to each individual, Strip has taken an initiative to educate the public and to bring awareness to the world class hygiene standard every consumer deserve. 

The dirty little secret campaign by Strip is focusing on preventing the practice of 'double dipping' during treatment which commonly overlooked. To make sure they maintain their status as the global authority in hair removal, Strip is keeping three promises to make sure such unhygienic practice does not happen to their customers which are:

1. Usage of new disposable razor for each customer (won't use electric shaver either).

2. Ensuring each customer receive a fresh towel every time.

3. Ensuring that their therapist are gloved up (with new latex glove every time)

To make sure that every new razor, gloves and other stuffs needed for treatment won't be exposed to potential contamination, Strip always prepacked their Hygiene Pack (and now even update them with a new and more vibrant look). Each pack will contain the needed tools which include disposable wooden spatulas (each used only for one dip), a disposable razor cartridge, a pair of disposable latex gloves, wet wipes, cotton buds, cotton pads etc.

With the newly received knowledge, I'm becoming more confident to keep on getting waxing treatments. We should never take lightly of these kind of topics because getting an infection is not impossible if we are not careful. So to waxing virgins or even the frequents one out there, you can now receive your treatment without a worry anymore :)
