Beauty products are my guilty pleasure. If it's Korean, it's better. I love their products because they work for my skin and are usually worth every penny. Not just that, I dare say that in these past few years, the spotlight in latest beauty culture and trends has now shifted more towards Korean brands and technology.
Yes, my obsession with anything Korean might have started with their entertainment scene (eg: dramas and handsome K-pop oppas), but it does not end there because I am now officially a hardcore K-beauty addict. The influence of Hallyu culture was the stepping point for the Korean beauty to get into the spotlight, but the main reason why they stay in the game for this long is because of the products. They are just so innovative, they come in such wonderful concepts that easily captures females (and males) heart, they are affordable and they work like magic too! I could say that more than seventy percent of beauty products that I own right now are made in Korea. But still, just like an addict, I always need my monthly dosage of new babies to admire.
My prescription?
Definitely more hauls. I just love checking out new products on both Korean beauty outlets and Korean beauty website. Research and testing out products are part of the fun too. Unfortunately, the experience can be limited if you are living thousands of miles away from South Korea.

Thankfully, they noticed and Korean brands have now started spreading their wings worldwide. For those who are living in Malaysia, you must have noticed the increasing number of K-brands coming into this country. So, we have more access and opportunity to try out products without having to travel there ourselves. But even with that, I know we all want more! So today, I have a great news that will make you, Korean beauty enthusiasts squeal in delight once again.

With the clues above, I'm pretty sure many of you have guessed it right. Yes, Mamonde is coming to us this August 2016 and their first beauty counter is going to be opened in AEON Bandar Utama!!
Thanks to Butterfly Malaysia I was invited to be one of the firsts to experience, test and intimately know the brand at their Launch Preview of Mamonde event in Royale Chulan Damansara. It was so amazing, it's still one of my favourites for this year. The exhibit hall was decorated with flowers and Mamonde products were displayed in such beautiful manners and I couldn't stop clicking my camera shutter trying to capture everything. We were also briefed on the brand history and their R&D approach which focuses on "5 key flowers that are used in Mamonde formulation, flower science technologies and their floral properties" .
Honeysuckle:
An enduring winter flower and widely grown in mountains and forests. Blossom in white but gradually turns orange as it age.
Hibiscus:
They bloom beautifully under the sunshine on summer days. Each Hibiscus shrub is capable of growing up to 5,000 trumpet-shaped flowers over a long season.
Narcissus:
They grow and blooms in bunches by the sea, revealing its pure and elegant beauty especially when clustered.
Lotus:
They breathe as the sun rises and anchors themselves firmly on a puddle of mud. They have deep, noble scent that travels in the wind which surely will attract you.
Camellia:
A flower capable of enduring long winter and is adaptable even in the ocean. It's also able to preserve its intoxicating scent regardless of the surrounding.
