The most exciting season for K-POP fans is here as the award fever is starting to engulf us all. Now the GDA has wrapped up, it's time to look forward to the comeback of one of the longest-running award ceremonies - the 32nd Seoul Music Awards coming to us this 19th January 2023. 

Hosted by South Korea's local newspaper Sports Seoul since 1990, this year's ceremony will be held at the Olympic Park's Olympic Gymnastic Arena, Seoul honouring artists from various genres including ballads, hip hop, R&B, bands, and many more for their professionalism and performance for the past year.

The nominees for this year's award categories have been announced on their official website on 6th December 2022 with some notable ones such as BTS, (G)I-dle, Lim Young Woong, Blackpink, Girls Generation, Super Junior, TWICE, Ateez, Kang Daniel, and Monsta X listed as candidates to win the Bonsang! 

Honestly, there were quite a number of good releases in 2022 so I can't expect which groups are going to win but as a long-time fan, I've been showing my support by voting for my favourite group Super Junior. Girls Generation also made a comeback with Forever 1 and (G)I-dle has been doing really good with their song Nxde so I 'm looking forward to see who is going to bring home the trophy that night!
