Menara Kuala Lumpur invited me for their Buka Puasa Ramadan Buffet for two consecutive years and once again, they do not disappoint. I remember how good was the foods last year so I was totally ecstatic for being able to come and experience iftar in the sky 288 meters above ground at the Megaview Banquet Hall all over again. The Kuala Lumpur view from there is so breathtaking regardless of how many time I've seen them!
The dishes I had last year are making their second-year appearance, once again prepared by Chef Ismail Ahmad and his team from Rebung Restaurant. If you are thinking of having a full on authentic traditional Malay 'kampung' food, this is the place you should be heading off to. I talked to one of Menara Kuala Lumpur staffs present on the day and learned that the reason behind a full Malaysianized menu list is because the tower itself is a hot tourist spot. With an objective to introduce our authentic cuisine to the world, it's just an obvious option to go with and I agree with them.

Small booths are also set up with more dishes option like:
I would also like to highlight that you should not miss out on their desserts menu, especially the Serawa Durian! It's just so good and goes well with their Roti Jala too. Not just that, others traditional Malay sweets are also available for the sweet tooth. Those I tried were so soft and fluffy, they can pass as the star of the night too. Our whole iftar experience was accompanied Malaysia traditional Gamelan music by Menara Kuala Lumpur cultural unit.
The Menara Kuala Lumpur Ramadan Buffet with Chef Ismail Ahmad started from 11th June until 13th July 2016 ranging from RM99+ nett for adult and RM59++ nett for children. Meet and break your fast with Chef Ismail Ahmad himself every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. You can also grab your chance to check out Menara KL newest attraction Sky Deck for just RM20 with the purchase of the Ramadhan Buffet (per person). Normal price would be RM75 so it'll be such a waste if you don't grab the opportunity! If you come in a large group, for every 10 adults you will get 1 FREE adult buffet entry too.
