Jerlynn'L: A Safer Choice for Kids & You

I love discovering new brands, especially ones with stories and Jerlynn'L is a local brand that fits perfectly in that category. Established by a father who wants to give the best for his children, Jerlynn'L provides a range of products that are formulated to suit children's delicate skin by using natural & earth-sourced ingredients. Needless to say, this means that the products from this brand will definitely cater to adults with sensitive skin too. In this post, I'm going to share my thoughts on four products from Jerlynn'L that I have been trying for the past month.

1. Jerlynn'L Body Wash - Plants & Herbs Extract

Gentle, that is the first thing that came into my mind when I first used this product. The soap texture reminds me of most baby products that I have encountered before, which usually gives a smooth and light feeling on the skin. There is no stickiness left on my skin after showering & the product lasts me quite a while to finish too. It has a more herbal-ish scent, but not too overpowering. It contains honey extract, which benefits are undeniable.

Suitable for: Age 4+

2. Jerlynn'L Hair Wash (Balance) - Plants & Herbs Extract

Their hair wash products come in two different range, Balance & Moisture. I am especially loving the scent of this hair wash, slightly more fruity than the body wash. Basing on the ingredient list on the product page, the fruity scent probably came from the Grapefruit. It does not leave a sticky feeling on my scalp nor over drying it and the shampoo lathers well too. Just like the body wash, this product comes in a big container with a 500ml worth of shampoo.

Suitable for: Age 3+

3. Bugs No More - Plants & Herbs Extract

I'm asthmatic. This means that I might be allergic to some bugs repellent products, especially those that leaves a very strong scent (especially those aerosol cans and coil-type repellent). Thankfully, this one smells very mild; unlike others that I have tried previously. They claim that it's work for 180 minutes after application, keeping all the bugs away but I have yet to try this but upon application, the product does stay on for quite sometimes (I can smell the mild scent of herb). The product is very delicate and free of preservative, thus it is also suitable for babies. This would definitely help new parents keep away the mosquitoes so their babies can get some sleep.

Suitable for: All ages including babies.

4. Jerlynn'L Art Soaps 

This is a very interesting product to me. I have never gotten the chance to play with art soap before so I had so much time creating my own soap masterpiece with these art soap bars that I received. They have seven different colours available; black, blue, orange, purple, red, white and yellow which will definitely guarantee a fun crafting time! Just like how you play with Play-Doh clays, just mould them into whatever shape that you want. The art soaps are approved by EN71 European Toy Safety Criteria, so you don't have to worry about the safety of your little ones too.
