Sunplay Sport Suncreen Lotion & Mist Review

I received a PR package from Mentholatum awhile ago (actually it was around the end of last year) containing two of their newest sun protection products which are the Sunplay Sport UV Sunscreen and the Sunplay Sport UV Mist. They are formulated exclusively for sports activities; both wet and dry. As you may know, I'm not exactly the sporty type. #chubsalert Since I'm probably 99% not a sports person but once in awhile on a very rare occasion, I do participate in some sweaty activities under the sun. For example; going to the beach. Since these products are formulated with the Wet Skin Technology, you will be able to enjoy the most intense sport with maximum sun protection

Sunplay Sport Sunscreen Lotion

Benefits:
- The quick dry formula that allows instant absorption on both wet and dry skin.
- Able to cut through water and form a protective barrier without leaving a white cast/dripping off.
- Up to 4 hours water and sweat resistance.
- High SPF 120 PA++++ to protect against harmful UVA & UVB rays.
- Contains 8 UV filters that don't break down or degrade easily under the sun to ensure long lasting protection.
- Designed with Solarex-3 Technology to protect against sun damage, premature ageing and keeping skin hydrated.

Upon trying the sunscreen, the first thing I notice is that is pretty watery (more liquid than cream/gel-ish) so you have to be careful when trying to pour it out. A little of it goes a long way and just like they say it got absorbed into the skin pretty quickly. The picture above is taken while the sunscreen is pretty wet. With the high SPF level, this is definitely one for a high sun intensity activity. I'm planning to bring it to my next trip to the Lost World of Tambun in May and see how it fares.

Sunplay Sport UV Body Mist

This product comes in a mist spray can containing 165ml of products. Just like the liquid type, this product is also able to cut through the water. I like how much pressure it has so when I spray it on my body, the mist is dispersed out pretty finely and it covers quite a wide area in one spritz They are light-weight, non-greasy, spread easily and doesn't leave any white splotches on your body too.

You can get the Sunplay Sport UV Sunscreen for RM43.50 and the Sunplay Sport UV Mist for RM58.90. These products are now available in leading pharmacies and hypermarket nationwide.

Till next post, toodles~! ♥ミ

    1. Hi MissClueless, this is water and sweat resistance sunscreen, so you can use it up to four hours before reaplication. Generally, you have to reapply sunscreen multiple times a day for maximum protection :D
